Take one Play Set from screen to printable flashcards

Create printable ESL flashcards from the same vocabulary, pictures, translations, and prompts used in your PeraPera Play classroom games.

Printable cards are most useful when they match the language students already saw on screen. Using the same Play Set prevents spelling, image, and translation differences between digital review and pair work.

Choose the card information and layout for the task, then print or save the result as a PDF.

Choose what belongs on each side

Pair English with an image for naming, English with Japanese for translation recall, or a question with an answer prompt for speaking. Keep text large enough to use from across a desk.

  • Picture cards for young learners and concrete words.
  • Word and definition cards for older learners.
  • Question cards for pair interviews and discussion.

Model before distributing

Show the same set on the shared screen and demonstrate the pair routine. Students then need less time to understand the cards and can focus on speaking.

Store sets for reuse

Keep related cards in labeled envelopes and retain the digital Play Set. Next lesson, you can begin on screen, distribute cards, or switch to a different game without rebuilding content.
