I built PeraPera Memo because I kept seeing the same pattern in eikaiwa schools: the lesson itself would go well, but the follow-up would fall apart. By the next class, parents were unclear on what to review, students had forgotten the focus, and teachers were piecing continuity together from memory.
That is the gap I wanted to fix. Not with a giant school management system, and not with another noisy group chat, but with a simple routine teachers could actually maintain after every lesson.

That idea became the core of PeraPera Memo: make the week between lessons feel like part of the lesson, not dead space.
The Real Problem Was the Week Between Lessons
Most teachers do not need help teaching. They need help with the repeatable admin that happens after class: logging what was covered, assigning homework, recording absences, and sending parents one clear update.
Existing tools often added friction instead of removing it. They were too heavy, too broad, or asked parents to install something new. I wanted the opposite: low friction for teachers and almost zero friction for families.
The design rule was simple: if it adds friction for teachers or families, it will not happen consistently.
What PeraPera Memo Needed to Do
The product started with a narrow goal: make weekly follow-up feel automatic.
Fast
Teachers should be able to log material, homework, and absences in a short, repeatable flow.
Clear
Parents should get one clean update per student, without group-chat clutter or account setup.
Practical
It needed bilingual fields, private links, and a workflow that matches real eikaiwa weeks.
That is why PeraPera Memo gives each student a private link instead of a parent login. Families open one page and see the lesson recap, homework, and notes in one place. If a school wants reminders, LINE integration can handle that in a channel parents already use.
The Workflow Had to Respect Teachers
The product is teacher-first on purpose. Teachers carry the communication burden, so the workflow has to be quick enough to survive a busy week.

Who I Built It For
I built PeraPera Memo for eikaiwa owners and teachers who care about what happens between lessons, not just during them. If your school is doing good teaching but follow-up still depends on memory, notebooks, or scattered messages, this is the problem the app is meant to solve.
Final Thought
I did not build PeraPera Memo to add more admin to teachers' lives. I built it to protect the value of the lesson after the lesson ends.
When parents know what happened, students know what to review, and teachers have a routine they can actually keep up, progress stops depending on memory and starts depending on a system.
