DocMerge is a lightweight tool that merges Microsoft Word (.docx) files. We designed it to be
private by default: uploads are processed ephemerally and temporary working files are deleted
after your merged document is sent back to you.
.docx or a .zip of folders): processed only to create your merged file, then the temporary working folder is deleted automatically after the response is sent.We use Google AdSense to help fund free usage. AdSense may set cookies or use device identifiers to measure performance or deliver (non-)personalized ads depending on your region and consent.
Note: Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EEA/UK), a consent banner may be required for ad cookies. We aim to serve non-personalized ads by default where applicable.
Front-end is hosted on Hostinger; API runs on Render. Processing may occur in data centers outside your country. We use TLS (HTTPS) in transit and rely on provider-managed protections at rest.
Depending on your region (e.g., EEA/UK/California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Since we don’t persist your files, requests typically concern logs or IP-based entries. Contact us and we’ll help.
DocMerge is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your local law). Do not use the service if you are under the applicable age.
We use HTTPS, least-privilege server permissions, and ephemeral temp folders. No internet service is 100% secure; please avoid uploading highly sensitive documents.
